The Billionaire CEO’s Second Chance: An Enemies to Lovers Workplace Romance
About
She was the one that got away. Now she’s the one I can’t escape.
Piper Walsh walks back into my boardroom like she owns it—same fire, same smile that wrecked me years ago.
Only this time, she’s here to fix my company, not my heart.
She’s the last person I should work with.
Too smart, too beautiful, too damn capable of getting under my skin.
We’re trapped together for three weeks in the same apartment—thanks to the merger from hell.
Every late-night argument turns into a dare. Every glance feels like déjà vu.
I tell myself I don’t care why she disappeared after college.
Until I find the reason—a four-year-old with my eyes and her laugh.
Suddenly, I’m not the man who lost her.
I’m the man who has everything to lose if she walks away again.
And this time, I’ll burn every bridge I own before I let her go.

The Billionaire CEO’s Second Chance is a wonderfully engaging contemporary romance and a definitive must-read for anyone who loves a high-stakes story. When corporate strategist Piper Walsh is called in to save Cameron King’s "merger from hell," it is immediately clear that their past feelings are still buried beneath years of hurt. I was hooked from the start, eager to uncover the truth behind their separation.
This skillfully crafted narrative is packed with surprises, secrets, and the kind of deep emotion and passion that keeps you turning pages. I loved diving into the complex family dynamics and the misunderstandings that defined their history; I found myself completely invested in rooting for these leads to fix what went wrong.
It was an entertaining journey of highs and lows filled with unexpected twists. Chloe has delivered another amazing story that perfectly balances intense drama with raw vulnerability, resulting in a beautiful, teary-eyed emotional payoff. Highly recommended!

Chloe Horne’s decision for the text structure was an extraordinary way to feel, not just read, how the MMF, Piper and MMC Cameron thought. This love story has numerous storylines that are seamlessly executed. My favorite character is Max, Piper’s son he is honest and innocent as young children are. The past between Cameron and Piper doesn’t stay there. This is a captivating story. This review contains my thoughts and feelings about this book.
